SRINAGAR, MARCH 25: A girl escaped from Chest Disease hospital her in Dalgate on Wednesday. Head of Department CD Hospital, Dr Naveed told news agency that the girl who hails from Batamaloo area of Srinagar city after returning from Hungary had arrived at CD Hospital on Tuesday.
“We collected her samples and have sent them to laboratory. She was suffering from fever and flu. Without waiting for the result of the test, she gave a slip, and fled from the hospital,” Dr Naveed said.
He added that she may be suffering from Coronavirus and people should avoid contact with her. “We have informed police and district administration and efforts are on to trace her,” he said.
Last week, a youth from Padshahi Bagh whose test turned out to be negative later on was detained by police after he ran away from the same hospital.(Courtesy KNT)

A suspected coronavirus patient has been traced as she reported to SKIMS Soura, sources told .
A resident of Batamaloo Srinagar, the 25-year-old woman, according to the doctors, is a ‘strong suspected case’. She was admitted yesterday at CD hospital.
A senior police officer told that the woman has reported at SKIMS and she has been admitted in the tertiary care hospital now.
The police officer said that there is security deployed at CD hospital and “it amounts to security lapse”.
“There is proper procedure and lot of care has to be taken from taking suspected patients from one place to another. As she was not referred, her act has put to risk life of others.”
