URI:26 MARCH:Hundreds of non-local labourers have entered in Uri town from the last several days, reports said.
Locals said that they have swarmed in the town and are putting up in nearby locations of Government degree College Uri.
“Around 100 non-local labourer have set up their base in the area. They are travelling in the town at night hours from different parts of India,” said a local.
With the alarming concern among the residents regarding the COVID-19, they have demanded a proper medical screenings of non-local labourers.
An officials from health department in Uri said that the necessary screening of the labourers were being conducted.
