SNS KASHMIR

SRINAGAR, APRIL 1: Senior Congress leader Saifuddin Soz today lodged a complaint with Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar for stopping Kashmiri News Bulletin from its list of morning Transmission of News
” I informed the Minister that the Prasar Bharti has withdrawn the Kashmiri News Bulletin from its list of morning Transmission of News.

A statement issued to press, in my letter to him, I brought to his notice that the general run of Kashmiris have become extremely angry with this move by the Ministry and the authorities of Prasar Bharti because it was nearly three decades that Sanskrit Bulletin was followed by Kashmiri News Bulletin,” he said.
“I urged the Minister to withdraw the order of withdrawing Kashmiri News Bulletin,” he added.

“Meanwhile, I talked to Shashi S. Vempati, Chairman, Prasar Bharti and urged him to restore the Kashmiri Bulletin, immediately. He has assured me that he would personally take interest in the restoration of Kashmiri News Bulletin in their daily transmission of News Bulletins of the All India Radio,” Soz added.
