Srinagar, October 29: Two Jaish-i Muhammad militants were killed in an gunfight in Mouchwa area of Budgam district.

A top Police officer said that two militants bodies are visible, possibly there could be one more as searches are still underway.

Earlier, Reports reaching that a joint team of Srinagar Police, Budgam Police and army’s 50RR launched a cordon and search operation in Mouchwa.

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight.

Pertinently, this is second encounter of this week, yesterday one militant was killed, while another surrendered in South Kashmir’s Tral.
