JAMMU FEBRUARY 21:

In a major success Bishnah Police station in Jammu solved the case pertaining to Assualt on SHO Bishnah Tahir Yousaf and his team on the night of 14th Feb by Bovine smugglers.

It is preteniant to mention that SHO Bishnah Tahir Yousaf got an information of smuggling of bovine in Lalyana area of Bishnah last week.

After getting information Tahir Yousaf along with his team went to the spot and tried to stop the smuggling bid.

Suddenly taking the benefit of darkness bovine smugglers attacked SHO and his team with lathis and sharp edged weapons.

SHO Tahir Tousaf got injured and was shifted to GMC Jammu.

Subsequently an FIR no 24/2021 U/S 307/353/336/332/427/147/148/149 IPC 4/25 A. ACT was lodged at Police station Bishnah on the written docket produced by second Incharge patrolling SI Pawan Kumar.

Subsequently a special team led SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and I/C SHO Anil Kumar flanked into action under the supervision of SP Hqrs Jammu Aadil Hamid and under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.

Police raided many hideouts of the smugglers in Lalyana and Waziruchak and collaborating the technical & human rounded up around three associates of smugglers.

After through questioning of the trio led to unearthing of while incident and evidence collected suggests involvement of other main accused in the commission of crime.

On this accused persons namely
1. WALI MOHD S/O LAL HUSSAIN R/O VILL. CHAK MURAR, TEHSIL BISHNAH, DISTT. JAMMU was arrested on 15-02-2021

  1. FAROOQ ALI@ BAMBOO @ KANA S/O KALA KHAN R/O VILL. KARAIL MANASHAN, TEHSIL BISHNAH, DISTT. JAMMU
  2. MOHD YOUNIS S/O LAL HUSSAIN R/O VILL. CHORLI KOTHEY, TEHSIL BISHNAH, DISTT. JAMMU
  3. ALAM HUSSAIN S/O NAWAB DIN R/O VILL. TARA CHAK, TEHSIL BISHNAH, DISTT. JAMMU all were arrested on 17-02-2021
  4. MANSHU ALI S/O BAGH ALI R/O BARI-BRAHMANA, DISTT. SAMBA
  5. MOHD BARU S/O MOHD YOUSAF R/O BARIBRAHMANA (NEAR POLICE STATION BARI BRAHMANA) DISTT. SAMBA
  6. FARMAN ALI S/O BALI DIN R/O VILL. KOTLI BHAWANA, TESHIL BISHNAH, DISTT. JAMMU.
  7. SIRAJ DIN S/O BASHIR AHMED R/O VILL. CHORLI, TESHIL BISHNAH, DISTT. JAMMU.
  8. SHAH DIN S/O KALA KHAN . R/O VILL. BARIBRAHMANA (NEAR POLICE STATION BARI BRAHMANA) DISTT. SAMBA were arrested on 20-02-2021.

The investigation team solved case within time bound and professional manner.
