Disseminate Awareness to Eliminate Apprehensions about the Vaccine: Advisor tells Authorities: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor R R Bhatnagar accompanied by various senior officers today paid visit to Baramulla where he chaired a meeting to review the overall developmental scenario in the district.
On the occasion, District Development Commissioner Baramulla Bhupinder Kumar briefed the chair about the pace of position of various developmental projects undertaken in different sectors through power point presentation (PPP) . He informed the chair that the district is leading at various developmental fronts adding that district has witnessed tremendous growth in various sectors viz horticulture, agriculture, rural development, health etc. He also appraised various issues and grievances hampering the path of development and sought his personal intervention for their immediate redressel.
Speaking on the occasion, Advisor stressed upon the concerned authorities to work with added zeal and dedication besides directed to keep prompt and efficient public service delivery on priority. He emphasized for mobilizing the available resources so that all the undertaken projects are completed within stipulated timeframe. Moreover, he directed to setup a smooth and efficient public grievance redressel mechanism at different levels besides enlisting various other efforts of the government in this regard.
Meanwhile, the Advisor took a brief appraisal of COVID-19 vaccination programme wherein he directed to work in coordination and synergy so that the desired results are achieved and the process is executed smoothly. He exhorted to disseminate awareness among the people and scale up efforts to eliminate the apprehensions ans misconceptions that have been developed among the masses.
DIG North Kashmir Sulemain Choudhary, SSP Baramulla, Principal GMC,JDP,ADC Sopore,SDMs, heads of various departments, district and sectoral officers among other concerned functionaries attended the meeting.
