SOPORE, MAR 09 :

A top militant chief killed in north Kashmir’s Sopore gunfight on Tuesday evening officials told Kashmir Despatch.

A senior police officer told Kashmir Despatch that Al-Badr chief Ganie Khawaja was killed in a gunfight that broke out on Tuesday evening in Tujjer village of Sopore.

The officer, however said that operation in the area is on.

Earlier, a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, SOG and CRPF sealed Tujjer village following inputs about the presence of militants.
