PATTAN BARAMULLA 12 :

IC PP Palhallan along with police party while coming from Renji Boochu National Highway area Noticed two persons wearing pheran in a suspicious condition who were coming from Trumgund towards Renji Hamrey.They were asked to stop by the police party but they tried to run away towards nearby orchards Both of them were tactically apprehended by the police party after hectic efforts.On their personal search two polythene bags containing ‘’FUKKI” were recovered which they were hiding inside Pheran .Both the apprehended persons disclose their names as:

  1. SAJAD AHMAD MIR
    S/O BASHIR AHMAD MIR
    R/O BULGAM
  2. MAQSOOD AHMAD DAR
    @JAN PARRAY
    S/O GHULAM NABI DAR
    R/O NOWPORA SOPORE at present Hygam
    Accordingly FIR NO 44/2021 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act is registered in police station Pattan and investigation set into motion.
