In connection with the world poetry day, a multi linguistics poetry seminar was organised today on 25th of March, 2021at BHSS Uri.The poets and literary persons of Pahari, Gojri, Kashmiri and Urdu languages have participated in the function.The main poets who attended the seminar were Mr Raja Nazar Bonyari, Mr Attaullah Mumtaz, Mr Taj u Din Tak, Mr Shah Mohammad and other prominent poets and literary personalities of Sub Division Uri. The programme was started with the welcome adress presented by Bilal Ahmad Dar (Lecturer English) who highlighted the purpose and objectives in detailed ,of organising of the programme.Mr Raja Nazar Boniyari was the Chief Guest on the occasion who described the programme as a source of inspiration for the students and organising of such programmes will definitely boost the moral of our local poets who rarely find such platforms for presenting their work. He also thanked Mushtaq Sopori principal BHSS Uri for inviting him and his literary colleagues in the function and honour them. Mr Mushtaq Sopori under whose guidance and supervision the seminar was organised thanked all the participants who graced the occasion and spared their precious time to make the seminar successful. SDM Uri Mr Riyaz Ahmad Malik joined the programme at concluding stage because of his busiest schedule and in his speech he highlighted the contributions of poets and literary personalities in the society. He also recited some English translated verses from a Naat translated by Mr Tanveer Ahmad Andrabi Ex Principal of GDC Uri. The Programme was concluded with the vote of thanks presented by Asif Ahmad Wani (PEL).At last the prayers were offered for those poets and literary personalities who have passed away in recent past.
