Senior journalist Zagar Gulzar mother passed away at Bharampora Rafaibabad

BWJA, NKJA, EJAC, NC and several socio-political organisations express condolences

Baramulla: Mother of senior journalist Zagar Gulzar passed away at Bharampora Rafaibabad after brief illness on Sunday.

North Kashmir Journalist Association and Baramulla Working Journalist Association (BWJA) have express condolence and solidarity with its former President Zargar Gulzar besides extended sympathies with the bereaved family.

A delegation of journalists led by Chairman BWJA Karamat Qayoom flanked by former president BWJA Sajad Hussain reached Bahrampora Rafiabad and participated in the funeral prayers. On behalf of BWJA and NKJA, senior journalist Karamat Qayoom to express condolence and solidarity with Zargar Gulzar besides extended sympathies with the bereaved family.

Large number of people from cross section of society participated in funeral prayers held at 9:30 am on Sunday. Various journalists, social, political and religious organizations have expressed their condolences and prayed for eternal peace departed soul. Condolences and prayer meetings were held throughout the day in which rich tributes and homage was paid to departed soul.

Meanwhile, Chairman Human Aid Society Kashmir Bashir Ahmad Mir and Bureau Chief Kashmir Images Reyaz Rashid has also expressed his condolences and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest his soul in peace and grant strength to the family, especially Zargar Gulzar to bear the loss. Kashmir Images family and SNS Kashmir express their heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and pray for peace to the departed soul.

Employees Joint Action Committee JK (EJAC) grieved over the sad demise of mother of Zargar Gulzar .In a press statement President EJAC and Chairman JK Teachers Forum Mohd Rafique Rather has expressed grief and shock on the demise.

JKNC Vice President North Kashmir Dr Sajjad Shafi Uri has expressed shock over the demise mother of Zargar Gulzar Correspondent HT and has conveyed their heartfelt condolence with the bereaved family.

Dr Sajjad  Shafi Uri in his condolence message said, “I pray for strength to the bereaved family  especially to Zargar Gulzar, to bear this inconsolable loss.”

Assistant Information Officer Bashir Ahmad Sofi from Juhama Baramulla have also condoled the sad demise.
