Baramulla:A councilor of Municipal Committee Sopore his PSO was killed while as another cop Shamas-din got injured when militants attacked them near Lone Building in Sopore town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Witnesses said that councillor Reyaz Ahmad Peer son of Gh Nabi Peer of Ningli Sopore and his PSO Shafqat Nazir Khan son of Nazir Ahmad of Mundji Sopore were killed while as  one civilian Shamas din Peer son of Gh Mohd Peer of Khushal Colony Sopore was injured when militants attacked them in Sopore.

” Both the injured were declared brought dead by doctor and injured was rushed to Srinagar hospital,” said a hospital source.


The injured Shamas-din has been reffered to Srinagar. Whole area being cordoned off to nab the attackers.
