Additional infrastructure to be put up in next 5 days

SRINAGAR, 31 MARCH 2021:

DC Srinagar Mohammad Aijaz Asad today made an inspection of Covid Testing facility at TRC Srinagar. CMO Srinagar Mr Jehangir Bakshi apprised Deputy Commissioner about the Medical Teams and infrastructure in place. He also highlighted the issue of putting up additional tentage for capacity enhancement. DC issued instructions for developing waiting area to be segregated from Testing area. The issue of additional space for setting up prefab camp was sorted out in consultation with Director Tourism.

He also visited few Covid care centres and enquired about their holding capacities.
During review DC was accompanied by Medical teams, Magistrates and police officers.
