KI family, SNS Kashmir, Apni Party, Dr. SKIMS, Qayoom Wani condoled the demise

Srinagar: Haji Abdul Gani Wani, the father of Kashmir’s renowned urologist and kidney transplant surgeon Dr Saleem Wani, passed away after a brief illness at his residence in Dana Mazaar, Srinagar.

People from various sections of the society have expressed their condolences with Dr Saleem Wani and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

In a condolence statement  Chairman Jammu Kashmir Civil Society Forum Abdul Qayoom Wani expressed grief and sorrow on the sad demise of Haji Abdul Gani wani father of renowned urologist  Dr Saleem Wani.

While expressing solidarity and sympathies with Dr. Saleem and his famil, Wani said that the deceased was a pious human being with good qualities of head and heart and was respected by one and all. Wani prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the berieved family especially Dr Saleem and his whole family to bear this loss.

 Prof. A.G. Ahangar, Director, SKIMS & Ex-Officio Secretary to Government and Staff of the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences in a condolence meeting held today  in SKIMS Board Room expressed their deep sorrow on the sad demise of father of Prof. Mohammed Salim Wani H.O.D Urology and Kidney Transplant Unit, SKIMS.  

 While offering heartfelt sympathies and condolences, Prof. A.G. Ahangar said that their thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family. He hoped that the family is able to draw strength in this hour of grief and said that whole of the SKIMS Organization stands shoulder to shoulder with the family at this difficult time.  He prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace in Heaven.

In a condolence message, Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari said the deceased was a noble soul who was known for his philanthropy and kind nature.

“I pray for eternal peace to the departed soul and express my deep solidarity with the bereaved family in this time of grief,” Bukhari prayed.

Meanwhile, Chairman Human Aid Society Kashmir Bashir Ahmad Mir and Bureau Chief Kashmir Images Reyaz Rashid has also expressed his condolences and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest his soul in peace and grant strength to the family to bear the loss. Kashmir Images family and SNS Kashmir express their heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and pray for peace to the departed soul.
