Army General, Syed Ata Hasnain today interacted with people and civil administration in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The interactive program Raabta was conducted by Baramalla rashtriya rifles / 59 medium regiment under the aegis of dagger division/dagger gunners. The interactive session with local populace & civil administration was held at community hall of seher-e-khas, old town and thimmaya hall, Baramulla chaired by lt gen (retd) s a hasnain,PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM,VSM(Bar)
Intent was known when the Raabta – An Interactive Session started with slogan Awaam aur Jawan Aman hai Mukan by putting people first.
An Initiative by Indian Army for further cementing the bonds with locals, Baramulla Rashtriya Rifles today conducted an interactive session with a motto of Awaam aur Jawan, Aman hai Mukam to inlcude Prominent personalities, Youth leaders/Icon, ward members, mohalla presidents, local populace in Old Town, Baramulla that was presided over by Lt Gen (Retd) S A Hasnain,PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM,VSM(BAR) , Maj Gen Virender Vats, SM, VSM, GOC Dagger Division & Brig Amit Dhir, Commander Dagger Gunners.
The General Officer interacted with local populace of the area including Ex-Servicemen, Youth leaders, Ward members, Mohalla president, prominent local personalities of the town and reminisce the old golden memories of Kashmir, also appreciated the efforts of Army , Police & Civil Administration for thier continuous efforts in improving “The function was an initiative by Indian Army and has been appreciated by locals as it provides a platform to address the socio-economic problems.
The Army renewed its commitment of being present to help the people in every manner possible to support Kashmiriayat – Peace Harmony, secularism and unity.
The General Officer also expressed his happiness post witnessing the latest developments, efforts to establish Peace & Harmony by orchestrated & synergized efforts by Civil Administration, Army & Police. He wished that, the same spirit shall continue to prevail.
The conduct of such interactive sessions will go a long way in reducing the socio-economic problem of the people of Kashmir and strengthening the bond between people and Army in Kashmir. This symbolic interaction session Raabta-An Interactive session followed by string of new measures with an emphasis on better bonhomie between Awaan and Army to achieve the National Integration as Objective.
