BARAMULLA APRIL 29 :

In order to felicitate and the boost the morale of the officers/officials who have been awarded with Sher i Kashmir Police Medal for Gallantry (SKPMG), now Jammu Kashmir Police Medal for Gallantry (JKPMG), for their bravery and gallant actions, a small investiture ceremony was organized at DPL Baramulla.

On the occasion, Sh. Sujit K Singh-IPS, DIG NKR, Sh. Rayees Mohammad Bhat-IPS SSP Baramulla and Sh. Mukesh Kumar Kakkar, Addl. SP presented the medals to the awardees for their outstanding contribution in counter-terror operations.

The awarded officers/ officials include Shri Mohd Nawaz-JKPS DySP Ops Baramulla, Shri Hilal Khaliq-JKPS SDPO Tangmarg, SI Ather Parvaiz, SHO PS Kunzer, ASI Hilal Ahmad, DPL Baramulla, SgCt Firdous of Mir, SgCt Mushtaq Ahmad Najar, SgCt Kishoor Kumar, SgCt Mushtaq Ahmad Parra & Ct. Tanveer Ahmad Bhat.

While congratulating the medal recipients, DIG NKR Baramulla and SSP Baramulla appreciated the indomitable courage & valour shown by the officers/ officials in the line of duty. They emphasized on them to continue working hard for eradicating terrorism and other anti national activities from the soil.
