The people of URI Appeal to NHPC Uri 1.and 11 to provide portable Oxygen concentrators from CSR(corporate social responsibility ).funds.As per CSR policy of NHPC at least 80 percent of the anual budget is embarked for CSR and Sustainability activities in local area of project.Up to 5 percent of the anual budget for CSR and Sustainability activities r earmarked fo meeting the Emergency needs.Health is a major issue this time and NHPC shld come forward to help local public in this pandemic.The public of Uri appeals to NHPC to stop mis use of CSR funds on footpaths .Refreshment providing Vehicles and other facilities to officers posted in sub division uri or dist Bla.The locals Appeal to DDC members of Uri Boniyar Sarpanches and civil society of uri and Boniyar to take up this issue with NHPC 1 and 11 authorities on priority .Locals said at least10 each portable oxygen concentrators to b provided BMO URI and Boniyar from CSR fund.The people of uri also alleged that NHPC till now misused the CSR funds or used outside the project area.like last year.The locals said even NHPC can establish PSA(pressure swing adsorption oxygen ) plants in sub dist Hospital uri.
