The historic Mughal road was thrown open for one way traffic on Wednesday after remaining closed for few months during winter.

The Jammu and Kashmir Mechanical Engineering graduates association in a press release issued to Sachnews Jammu Kashmir applauded the Mechanical Engineering Department for the praisworthy & appreciable work done in limited resources of men, material & machinery available in opening historical Mughal road well before targeted time.

The president JKMEGA ,Er Firdous Ahad Bhat appluaded the team work done by Er Fareed choudary (CE Mech kmr),Er Gagan Jyoti (CE Mech Jammu) ,Er zahoor shb (xen),Er Ansar (AEE) ,Er Fayaz (AE ),Er Iqbal (JE) ,Er Ab Rashid (JE) & Engineers from Jammu Division & crew of operators who dedicatedly worked from continuous last one month on this road among all odd constraints & risks like availability of large almost 15feet high snow, falling avalanches & stone shooting etc & made it open , motorable for general public .

The president of JKMEGA ,Er Firdous Ahad Bhat again reminded Government for full filling the commitment of creation of separate Mech Mughal Maintenance Division each one at shopian & poonch for keeping this beautiful & important road open for maximum possible duration so that an alternative to much trouble national highway of Banihal -jammu is created for better public service.
