HANDWARA: 30 JANUARY 2021.

Today in memory of Martyrs of the nation and to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi (Father of the Nation) Handwara Police observed Martyrs’ Day in all its Police Stations, Police Posts & Police components; two minute silence in memory of National Martyrs was observed throughout the PD. The main function was observed at DPO Handwara where Superintenden of Police Handwara Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS participated besides ASP Handwara Shri Mashkoor Ahmad-JKPS and other staff members of DPO Handwara were also present on the Occasion.

At the end SP Handwara said that the day has been chosen to honour our brave martyrs who have laid down their lives for the Country.
